I'm a Biba Girl, In a Biba World!

Welcome to the 60s! This decade was a unique time to experiment styles, prints, textures, and colors. Check out how the 60's influenced our fashion sense and style today.

The style that took over the fashion world was the Biba brand and boutique, Created by Fashion Illustrator and Designer, Barbara Hulanicki. Barbara wanted to create a style and boutique that spoke to the youth. It was the fast fashion trend back in the day.

This Biba purple patterned mini- dress was designed in 1967 by Barbara Hulanicki.

Nordic Poetry, European brand has a vintage 60's Biba Mini- dress for sale here!

Our Modern take for 60's influence. Actress, Victoria Justice wore a pattern mini dress with knee high boots for a Rebecca Minkoff Fashion Show. Biba's style started the prints and mix of textures in mini-dresses. Also, the knee high boots matching the mini-dress. It added the extra pop of color. Now, a black knee high boot is what we would pair with a mini dress for class and sophistication. See how the 60's has influenced our fashion!

Thank you Barbara for bringing us the mini-dresses and telling us it's "all about the label. Not about the labels showing but subtlety of the labels." ~ Barbara Hulanicki.
